Your domain email on your phone and computer
Step-by-step guide: how to add your email address to Gmail, Outlook, iPhone and Android, plus the correct IMAP and SMTP settings.
You've created name@yourcompany.com and want to use it on your phone and in your favourite email app? It takes five minutes. All you need is the email address, its password and the settings below.
The settings you need
- Username: your full email address (e.g. name@yourcompany.com)
- Incoming server (IMAP): mail.yourcompany.com, port 993, SSL/TLS
- Outgoing server (SMTP): mail.yourcompany.com, port 465 (SSL/TLS) or 587 (STARTTLS)
- SMTP authentication: yes, with the same address and password
Replace yourcompany.com with your domain. You'll also find the exact settings in your panel under Email → Setup.
iPhone and iPad
- Open Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other.
- Choose Add Mail Account and enter your name, address and password.
- Choose IMAP and fill in the servers above.
- Save. Your messages appear within seconds.
Android (Gmail app)
- Open Gmail → your profile picture → Add another account → Other.
- Enter your address, then choose Personal (IMAP).
- Enter the password and fill in the incoming and outgoing servers.
Outlook on your computer
- File → Add Account, enter your address and choose Advanced options → Let me set up my account manually.
- Choose IMAP and fill in the servers and ports.
- Enter the password and click Connect.
Common problems
- "Wrong password": make sure the username is your full address, not just the name.
- You can receive but not send: turn on SMTP authentication and try port 587.
- Your emails land in other people's spam: the domain needs SPF, DKIM and DMARC records — we set them up automatically.
Tip: use IMAP, not POP3. With IMAP your messages stay on the server and look the same on your phone, laptop and webmail.
